GETSEMANI AUDITORIUM - SECOND FLOOR

CONFERENCE ROOM
Has a maximum capacity of 1506 spectators in its normal setup, the main use of the room is as conference room, congress plenaries or assemblies.

There are two types of setups: the common ones where the directors take seat at the stage and the public at the chairs, and the special ones where a group of official delegates have tables with microphones placed in between the chair rows.

The simultaneous translation cabins are located three at each side of the room.

The auditorium comprises the following dependencies with the areas indicated in each case.

SEATING CAPACITY
Maximum capacity: 1.506 chairs, using 31 chairs at the pit's platform.
Maximum capacity at the parquet: 1.475.
Maximum capacity with tables for parliament type meetings: 850 chairs

STAGE EQUIPMENT
A pit for the orchestra with a hydraulic height adjutsment system. A front curtain with variable operation speeds, regulatory accoustic shell with two additional moveable lids.

Stage machinery with 23 bars with a resistance of in between 200 to 300 kg each. Internal communication system to ease the technical coordination of the works or shows (projections, lights and sound).

STAGE LIGHTS
Directly over the stage there are three bars with color lights. Outlets for 360 reflector lights of 500 to 1.500 watts at 110 volts, programable by computer in 48 light dimmers of 7, 4 and 15 Kw. Seven additional outlets outside of the computer for 50 amps., 6 scoops of 2.000 watts, 8 reflectors at 1.500 watts, 4 followers with high voltage lightbulbs of 1.500 watts each, all with special color filters for recording or presentation of any artistic show


Great Barahona SaloonGREAT BARAHONA SALOON - SECOND FLOOR

Capacity for 1.800 persons in the form of theater and 900 in the form of school seated with tables, capacity for 1200 persons in the form of party with round tables of 8 persons each and platform for orchestra and dance floor.

The Great Room has in each one of the rooms 4 simultaneous translation cabins for a total of 16 cabins when the four rooms are united. Each room has a press balcony.

The Great Room may be divided into four medium sized rooms and an access hallway with panels of an aluminum in polyurethane structure and pressed fiber glass which allows a good enough thermal and sound isolation to carry out simultaneous events. The rooms may be opened and closed in diferent combinations.

The Great Barahona Saloon has an area of 1.375 M2 and a height of 7M.

BARAHONA 1
Capacity for 250 persons in the form of theater, 100 persons in the form of school, and 60 persons in the type "O", four simultaneous translation cabins and press balcony for a total area of 236 M2.

BARAHONA 2
Capacity for 300 persons in the form of theater, 150 persons in the form of school, and 130 persons in the type "O", four simultaneous translation cabins and a press balcony for a total area of 269 M2.

BARAHONA 3
Capacity for 550 persons in the form of theater, 220 persons in the form of school, and 150 persons in the type "O", four simultaneous translation cabins and a press balcony for a total area of 373 M2.

BARAHONA 4
Capacity for 450 persons in the form of theater, 180 persons in the form of school, and 120 persons in the type "O", four simultaneous translation cabins and a press balcony for a total area of 340 M2.

Exhibition HallEXHIBITION HALL - SECOND FLOOR

This zone has a total area of 779 M2 and a height of 2.30M. It is used for exhibitions during fairs, commercial and industrial sampling, etc. For this, 32 stands of 6M2 (3 X 2) separated by aluminum structures and plywood are installed. Using module separators the area is also used as offices

COMMISSION PARLOR - THIRD FLOOR

COMMISSSION PARLORS No. 1, 2 y 3 AB

Area: 50.9 M2 (9.10 x 5.60), Commission A
Area: 56.4 M2 (9.10 x 6.20), Commission B

For a total of (A +B) 107 M2. Free height 2.70M. Capacity (A + B) in auditorium is for 100 persons, 70 persons for banquets and 60 with conference tables. They are divided in two rooms with half the capacity by accoustic doors.

COMMISSION PARLOR 4

Area: 95 M2 (9.50 x 9.10). Maximum capacity in Auditorium: 70 persons and 24 persons in type "O".

PEGASOS SALOON -  FIRST FLOOR

Total area : 336 M2. The saloon has a maximum capacity in auditorium form for 200 persons and 100 persons with conference tables. It may also be equiped as press room, computers room, etc. By its nearness to the kitchen, this area is also used as a restaurant.

PORTICO SALOON - FIRST SALOON

Area next to the Obregón Hall is used for registration having an independent entrance for delegates who proceed directly to the Obregón Hall or the Animas Cloister.

LAS ANIMAS CLOISTER'S - FIRST FLOOR

Has an open area in the form of terrace framming the Animas Bay and places where vessels may dock.

The interior has a central area of 576 M2 and a corridor of 720 M2, which together may be used as space for foods and beverages, social or academic activities with an approximate capacity of 600 seated persons

By being an air conditioned area with natural day light and very tropical, it is also used for commercial sampling or location of module offices, allowing the placement of 32 stands of 6 M2 (3 X 2) separated by aluminum structures and plywood.

FLAG COURT - SAN FRANCISCO ESPLANADE -  FIRST FLOOR

It is the main entrance to the Great Barahona Room. It has 44 flagpoles. The total useful area is 2.000 M2, special for exterior exhibitions, located across from the Centenary Park

Obregon HallOBREGON HALL

Is the main entrance to the Convention Center, its name was given to honor the great Colombian painter; Master Alejandro Obregón, who is the autor of the mural "Galerna" found in this area

GRAU HALL

Area: 226 M2. Located on the second floor, its name was given to honor the artist from Cartagena; Master Enrique Grau, who painted the work "Aquelarre" found in the Hall. It is an obligated passage towards the Getsemaní Auditorium or the Barahona Rooms.

AUDITORIUM'S FOYER

Area: 521 M2. It is the entrance hall to the Getsemani Auditorium, may be used to hand out or distribute documents, for the location of posters and as an area for exhibition of commercial samples. 17 stands of 6 M2 (3 X2) may be located in this area.

GENERAL SECRETARY

Located on the second floor, has an area of 139 M2 and may be divided into several offices by modules. It may be used as the Meetings or Congresses Secretarial office.

VIP LOUNGE

With an area of 73 M2 it is located next to the General Secretary, it is used as office and resting room for the personalities that assit and participate at the events carried out at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.

ARSENAL ROOM

With an area of 124 M2. located on the second floor near the Exhibitions Hall it is used as an office, as an attached general secretary, conference or meeting room. It has an approximate capacity for 70 persons in the form of auditorium.

ATTACHED VIP ROOM

With an area of 55 M2 and located on the third floor near the Commission Rooms, is used mainly as the support office for events or personality room. Additionaly it has an open terrace with a view to the Bay of Cartagena
